Fort Sill, OK

Fort Sill is a US army installation in Comanche County, Oklahoma. Fort Sill was established in 1869 and built during the Indian Wars. It is currently the only active Army post in the Southern Plains built during this time, making it a National Historic Landmark. Fort Sill is one of the best training posts in the Army. Their mission is to train artillery Soldiers well and they do so by using a three-pronged approach. The post is home to the Field artillery school and the Field Artillery Training Center. In the free world, Fort Sill is the largest field artillery complex.
