Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point is a United States airfield in Havelock, North Carolina. Built in 1942, MCAS Cherry Point is home to the 2^nd Marine Aircraft Wing. The mission of Cherry Point is to maintain a high-quality environment while operating all activities, keep facilities and assigned aircraft well-maintained and operated, protect the environment and nurture the quality of life.
