Naval Air Station Corpus Christi is a naval base located in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Naval Air Station’s mission is to support the aviation training activities and operations of its tenants. Corpus Christi executes their mission by providing exceptional healthcare, affordable living, excellent education opportunities, a strong economy, and land or sea-based recreation. The base trains student pilots to fly the different aircraft found on base. Today, the training program is 18 months long due to the complexity of current aircraft. Training Air Wing FOUR qualifies 400 new aviators each year.
