Hanscom AFB, MA

Hanscom Air Force Base is located in Bedford, Massachusetts and is part of Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC). Hanscom AFB was established in 1942 and was named after Laurence G. The Air Force Life Cycle Management System is the one division of the AFMC, which is responsible for the life cycle management of the weapons that go through the Air Force. The base researches potentially hostile forces and enables commanders to make effective decisions in sudden situations.  The 66th Air Base Group is the host unit of Hanscom AFB.
