Hill Air Force Base is the third-largest Air Force Base in the country and is located in northern Utah. Apart of the Air Force Materiel Command, Hill AFB is home to a large number of operation and support missions. The 75th Air Base Wing is the host organization at the base. They provide support to other organizations, with Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) being the largest supported organization on base. Hill AFB was named after Ployer Peter Hill, a member of the U.S. Army Air Corps who died testing a prototype aircraft called the B-17 Flying Fortress bomber. The goal of Hill Air Force Base is to provide mission-ready Airmen and equipment, outstanding support to the Hill AFB Team and supreme care to their people.
