Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek is a major Amphibious Forces operating base in the U.S. Navy’s Atlantic Fleet. NAB Little Creek is the largest amphibious base in the world. Located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Little Creek joined with the Army’s Fort Story to form Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. NAB Little Creek’s mission is to provide over 15,000 personnel and 27 homeported ships with support. Little Creek is a unique base in the United States and Allied Navies because its operations, support, and training facilities are geared towards amphibious operations.
